Each living space has its own character. One is anchored by a stone fireplace, its mantle worn smooth by decades of evening gatherings. The other opens wide onto a terrace, blurring the boundary between interior comfort and mountain air. Both share a quality that cannot be designed, only inherited: the unhurried calm of a house that has stood for more than half a century.
The furnishings are deliberate — clean-lined, understated, chosen to complement rather than compete with the architecture. Soft textiles, reading lamps angled just so, shelves that invite you to linger. These are rooms for long conversations, for the kind of slow afternoon that only arrives when you have nowhere else to be.
Architect Emil Nadejde understood proportion. The ceiling heights, the placement of every window, the way natural light migrates across the room through the course of a day — nothing here is accidental.
