The kitchens were updated during the 2018 renovation with modern appliances and durable surfaces, while retaining the generous proportions of the original layout. Counter space is ample. Storage is thoughtful. There is room to move, room to spread out, room for the kind of collaborative cooking that turns meal preparation into the best part of the evening.
Whether you are preparing a simple mountain breakfast — fresh bread, local cheese, strong coffee with a view of the peaks — or orchestrating a dinner for sixteen, these kitchens will not limit you. They are spaces where the rhythm of the house slows down even further, where the act of feeding people becomes an expression of care.
Local ingredients are close at hand. The markets of Brasov are 14 km away, and the surrounding villages offer farmstead cheese, honey, cured meats, and seasonal produce that tastes the way food is supposed to taste. Bring it back to Charming Chalet, and the kitchen will do the rest.
